violent-buddhist: Pulitzer Prize winner Stan Grossfeld Stan Grossfield won two prizes, one for his work in 1984 in Lebanon during the war, and the other during famine in Ethiopia in 1985. He was Chief Photographer and Associate Editor of the Boston Globe in the 1980s. The photo is of a starving Ethiopian mother and her child is shocking in its detail. The child reportedly died not long after the photo was taken.
